COVID-19 Updates

Update – January 2022

With the recent surge of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, we’d like to remind patients of the measures we’re taking to keep you (and our team) healthy & safe!

We highly recommend wearing a mask while indoors, with social distancing markers in place to guide you through the office. All DLA staff are wearing high-filtration N95 masks.

Showing symptoms of a cough, fever, or sore throat? We’re happy to help with quick & easy appointment cancellations & rescheduling.

  3. Schedule appointments online. While we do not have our usual Walk-In Botox clinics to avoid crowding, we now provide the option for patients to quickly book aesthetician appointments online.

Update – May 2020

A warm and caring greeting from all of us here at DLA. We hope that you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe during this challenging time!

We’d like to share the steps we have taken to ensure that our business is prepared to navigate this environment and strengthen our ability to ultimately welcome patients back to our practice.

We are thrilled to announce that our doors officially reopened on Friday, May 1, 2020.

We have hired new assistance, updated employee protocol, and trained diligently to take all appropriate measures for the safety of our patients and staff. We ask that you show up for your appointment alone (if at all possible) and wear a mask if you have one.

Please enter the building via the outdoor staircase to the third floor. You will be provided with hand sanitizer and given further instructions on navigating through our office during your appointment.

Dr. Sawyer has carefully compiled a kit of recommended supplements during this time. These kits include supplements like quercetin and zinc (mentioned in recent press conferences as items that can impair viral replication) along with instructions on dosing.

Exciting news! Sofwave, the skin-tightening facial treatment that we trust as a solid solution for lines & wrinkles, is now approved by the Food and Drug Administration for the reduction of cellulite.

About Sofwave Skin Tightening

The Sofwave treatment rejuvenates skin using high-frequency, low-divergence ultrasound and heat to reach the deep layers of the dermis where collagen formation is stimulated. It uses a Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam, or SUPERB, technology, which has now been deemed safe for smoothing cellulite dimples as well.

In a clinical study, 68 female participants received two treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart on the upper thighs and buttocks. Photographs taken at baseline and the three-month post-procedure mark were assessed by blinded independent reviewers to identify and grade the pre-treatment and post-treatment images. The reviewers correctly identified the post-treatment images for 89 percent of the cases.
